Title: Offering up my availables within the U.S. [CLOSED]
Description: I need these outta my house!

EllyMae58 - February 16, 2008 08:57 PM (GMT)
As some of you have heard, I'm planning a trip to London in the fall. One of the ways I can save money for my trip is to cut out postage as much as possible. Except for the one exchange I'm allowing myself, I'm withdrawing from VBBs and swaps etc in order to do this. (Just one of the several ways I'm planning to cut back to save money for my trip.)

My self-imposed cut off date is March 13, which is the day I get my bonus from work, so I have until then to get any swapping out of my system and get any books mailed off. Or finish up all mailing at that time when I have a crapload of money! LOL After that, I tighten the purse strings significantly.

Anyway, I have two big boxes of available books sitting on the floor of my spare room that I want GONE.

Please take a look and let me know what books you are interested in. I'll try to send as many as I can, but I do want to give everyone a chance. If you have an OBCZ that you'd like books for, and you don't care what titles, let me know that, too.

*Please be sure that the status is set by me.
*No need to PM me with your address UNLESS your info is not current on RABCK.com or on the Google doc that Fantasy set up for us.

Go get 'em!!

P.S. Some of these are already prepped for wild release, so they may have stickers and such on the covers.

wss4 - February 16, 2008 09:34 PM (GMT)
I see a lot of good books there!!

Here are a couple that my girls would like. I think that my oldest would like the Golden book and of course my 8 year old would love the Junie B. I don't think she has that one yet.

Soul Survivor by Christopher Golden
Junie B., First Grader: Cheater Pants by Barbara Park

I am happy to paypal you shipping Kel if you would like.

Also if any of the Horror books are left over once everyone has had a chance to post and you just want to get rid of them, I will send you shipping to send them my way. Horror was my first favorite genre and even though I have gotten into Paranormal lately I always enjoy a trip back into horror now and then. Ditto with the teen books for dd.

We are going to miss you in the VBBs and swaps, but I totally understand where you are coming from. The fun of planning your trip to London will fill in the emptly place that not swapping will leave. :P

I, too, understand where you're coming from. Of course, I can always pass off a lot of these at the reading festival next year (for teens) or to the other people in the RCBP. LOL...
So it's not like I have a problem at ALL!

What I was interested in was:
*Thief Lord
*Secret Santa
*Beautiful Girls
*Sing with the Top Down (almost bought this at Target)
*Sleepaway (I almost bought this at Barnes and Nobles a few weeks ago!)
*Wish (Almost bought this at Target)
*Star Wars from the Adventures of Luke Skywalker (Bluesman and I were just talking about how we need to be more open with our star wars reading... Because no one else in the group reads it... )

Please let me know if you want postage or anything else. Do you want any British themed books to release there??

Anyway, good luck with your trip and please let me know if you need anything. Thanks!

I obviously don't expect all of these and would be thrilled with any you should choose to share. As I'm a late comer to this thread and I'm sure atleast some of my choices are already spoken for .... this will give you a few to pick from.
Please let me know what/if you'd like postage costs. I am listed on both Rabck & the Google Doc. :D Thanks a bunch for the cool offer, you have a very yummy shelf.

She Wakes ~ Jack Ketchum
BodyWork ~ Fiona Brand
Sight Unseen ~ Samantha Graves
Midnight Rain ~ Holly Lisle
Angel Experiment &/or School's Out-Forever ~ James Patterson

I'd also be interested in any by these authors as I've heard good things about them, but haven't gotten to try any of them yet.

Rita Herron
Mark Billingham
Carla Cassidy
Janelle Taylor
Brenda Novak
E.C. Sheedy
Beverly Barton
and Kate Pepper
