With the Valentine's Day exchange nearly upon us it is time to find a new Exchange to keep the Bookobsessor's happy :D

So it is time for the May Day Exchange!

The only rule is that you have to give ONE book off your partners wish list. Everyone should update their "Favorites" just in case their partner would like to enclose anything extra!

May Day is May 1st so that will be the day packages will be allowed tobe opened!

Sign ups will be open until the last week of February so that everyone has 2 months to get something to their partner. When I have closed the sign-up I will partner everyone up and then send everyone their partners details.

Oooooh shitty shit shit!! You know I sooooo love this exchange, it being all "Springtime in New England" and such. But it's very likely I'll be living "on the road" in my RV at this time, without a permanent address! So I can't commit to anything that'd fall between May and August. Grrrrrrr.....


ETA - Then again, I could still be living here, trying to get our house sold. In which case, I'd kick myself for not playing while the rest of my life is being super stressful!!

I was going to suggest that too! I am sure there is someone who would be happy to hold on to the package for you. I can always make sure your partner is in the US...will mailing times inside the States not being so long you could let us know a week or 2 before opening where your package can be sent too.

My sister's house in California could work as an address if I am living on the road then. Though I haven't confirmed with her if she'd be willing to be my temporary address until I find a permanent home. :unsure:

And it could be super fun to shop for my partner as I'm traveling from MA to CA and living life on the road.... Hmmm... well I've got till the end of February to figure it out so make me a maybe. I'll talk to my sister and see if she's willing to be a surrogate receiver for me if our house is sold and we're on the road by then.

And if it's not, and we're still waiting to sell, well then my current addy in MA will work out just fine.

Gimme some time to talk to her, to Mike, and see what's up, and I'll have a definite answer by the end of the month.

As much as I love these exchanges and putting together packages for my partner, I think I'm going to pass this time. I'm really focusing on whittling down my TBR pile and participating in these exchanges won't help.
