Put me down as a maybe. I have a book that might work, but I'm going to be out of town for the long weekend, so I want to see how many people are going to be playing to decide if it's fair for me to join at the bottom of the list or if I'll just hold everything up too much.

A YBS is just like all the other swaps I've played in except that it's not limited by a specific genre, right?

I'm going to be away for the weekend, so I'll get the playlist set up later on Sunday night.
A few rules I'm going to add and test-drive this month:
#1 - Players must not have outstanding commitments in other game areas over 6 months old (ie. swap books owed, VBB books owed, exchange groups, etc). Players please contact me via PM if you think someone falls into this category - I can't keep track of all that by myself!
#2 - Everyone must check in within the first 24 hours of the swap. After the first 24 hours, if you do not check-in, we will only wait 2 (yes, TWO) hours on your turn.
#3 - Leaving/using moves - No one's moves left in any shape or form will be used until 4 hours of their turn have elapsed, unless explicitly stated by the person leaving moves that we should use them earlier.
I hope that these aren't too controversial or offensive....just want to clarify a few things that might be done under assumption....

Breeze, I just have a question about the rules....we are only waiting two hours for someone to check in, but waiting four hours before using moves - what am I missing?
Please don't think I am arguing the rules, I just want clarification so that I can follow them.

I think this means that if someone doesn't show up at any time during the first 24 hours of the swap and then their turn comes up, we only wait 2 hours. If you have made an appearance in the first 24 hours, you get the normal waiting time. This seems to be avoiding waiting the whole 12 hours for someone who has not checked in on the swap yet at all. :shrug:
