My head is spinning with this new job, and it's entirely possible that I'll be too distracted to swap, but I'm hoping that swapping will be the distraction I need!

I like to swap, especially teen books, but with the teen VBB going monthly, it's just getting to be a bit much for me with both of these every month. I've trying VERY hard not to offer TBRs, unless it's something I'm actually already in the middle of reading.

I'll have to pass this month - I owe too many books as it is and I am trying to get it under control :blush:

I can definitely see how having both this swap and the Teen VBB every month could get a little overwhelming for our regulars.

I'm a definite now if we have the swap, but I'll certainly understand if we cancel it for this month as well.

I think so. If we are going to skip a month, I'd rather it be March cause I'll be out of town again on the 13-16th (another George Strait weekend :giggle: This time the team roping )

Yeah!!! The PUF swap is only every 2 months and I have given up on the chick-lit swap. I couldn't take part in the best of 2007 swap which started last week because I knew this week would be a heavy week work wise and that I couldn't check in every 12 hours. So now I am ready for a nice swap or 2 :D

Ok, if it's a matter of having enough people, then I will join in and suffer my own consequences :lol: I cannot resist -- especially if there's a chance that March will be cancelled!

What age range for this swap?

I am considering one book that I think would be liked, but it's more toward the younger age range. What do you think?

I think we've usually gone with 13+ on this one, but it would not bother me if it was for a younger audience. Anyone else?

It would bother me - I like Teen/YA, but am generally not interested in children's books - but if I'm in the minority I just wouldn't ask for Kel's reveal!

The cold I was fighting has turned into something more and I'm going to go to the Urgent Care to see what's up, but I don't anticipate being coherent for swapping early on. :(

As much as it is breaking my heart to do so, I am going to skip this month. I have got to get caught up on my owed TBRs before I add more to the pile. Hopefully by the next swap I will be in better shape to participate. :cry:

That viral upper respiratory infection wss4 was talking about is what I had the week before my trip. I haven't been that sick in years and I still have a very nasty cough that I can't seem to get rid of. I really hope you don't have that Pepper, it is bad stuff.

I have bronchitis. The Urgent Care doctor gave me antibiotics, and cough medicine/decongestants. I came home, took them, plus something for my fever/headache, drank some tea & soup, and slept.

I feel a little better now, but I still can hardly talk, and it's difficult to breathe.
