Looks some changes are coming.

But we can still say we got wung, right?

My wings just left me yesterday so I can't check out the new stuff :(

Oh I haven't got any either Hoser - I keep meaning to get some. Payday :lol:

My wings left me last weekend. So unless I treat myself soon then I won't check it out either. Oh well... :rolleyes:

*shrug* the only difference I see is that instead of "wings since" it says "member plus since" or expires or whatever the heck it says. I don't use it a lot though. They just extort it from me so I can edit my release locations </smart ass off>

At the moment there are no differences. It says that they will be adding new features soon for Members Plus.

I don't see much difference now in what you get but the new beta sight is very different. I think I like it. It has a cleaner look to it. I'll try to post a screen shot.

I'm not sure I like the tabs on the top. :unsure:
I still wish they'd do something about those darn hot threads though.

I don't mind the hot threads now that they removed chit chat and games from the list.

I don't like the new name.

I'd still like to see the option to hide them or at the very least, remove the forums that are not in English from that list. I've seen the hot threads be all non-English, and if I was a first-time visitor to the site, that would seem odd to me. :shrug:

Yeah, me neither. I don't know why they didn't just leave it as Wings, or maybe make it Wings Plus or something. It's not like they have two options, Wings AND Members Plus. :shrug:

I don't mind the tabs. I'm a tabby kind of girl I rarely if ever look at the stuff on the side bars though. If it were up to me, I'd do away with the mirrors list - or put that at the bottom of the page.

And I'm not a fan of the tabs either, for whatever reason. Ah well, I'm sure I'll get used to it....

I like the looks of the tabs, but what I can not stand is how sensitive they are. I have a hard time keeping them where I want them.

Like tabs, don't like the name. Like others said it sounds corporate and what was WRONG with wings? No biggy though.

ETA although thinking about it. maybe it is a biggy :shrug: that it is sounding so corporate?

Reply...they frustrated me at first too. But now that I've used them (since I've now switched to using the beta site) they aren't so bad. And I definitely prefer them to having to expand the sections on the old side bar.

ETA: I like the new name. Wings never made that much sense to me. What do running books and wings have in common? But then I live in a Corporate world so I guess that's more my style.

I've been using the Beta site trying to see the new stuff and adjust to the new look. I just discovered the "Global Overview this Book". It gives you a synopsis, and recommends other books. Great for looking at other's shelves that don't put in a blurb about what the book is about! :giggle: It also tells you how many other BCers have that book registered and how many have been wild released. Cool!
