Attention - Please Read!!

I am modifying the 6-month rule somewhat and the change will go into effect THIS ROUND.

From now on, if you owe books beyond the six month timeframe and have not updated the journal entries to show that the books have been mailed by your turn you will be automatically skipped. You will still have 24 hours to replace any books that are due to be replaced but if you don't show during the 24 hours, you will and stay in your same spot and will not be bumped to the bottom. You will still need to come and replace your books and will be expected to do so the next time you check in. If you do not need to replace books you will be automatically skipped and the next person will be pm'ed.

Welcome to Round 3-02 of the Everybook VBB!

The Rules:

(1) I will post a list of books and the order of the box participants on the first of the month.

(2) Each person may take as many books out of the box as they want; however, you must put in the same number of books. This means that you may be responsible for shipping the number of books that you have put in. You control how many books you are willing to ship by only taking out/putting in that number of books.

(3) Each person must mail all of their books that were selected prior to six rounds ago in order to select additional books from the box. For example, if this is October, all books selected through March must be mailed. Everyone will be randomized into the list as normal and I will send out pm's at the beginning of this round reminding you that you will need to mail books before you can select additional books. You will not be pm'ed regarding the issue again. For each subsequent round, I will only pm the new people that are affected. If you owe books beyond the six month timeframe and have not updated the journal entries to show that the books have been mailed by your turn you will be automatically skipped. (4) Play may continue perpetually. You can choose to skip your turn by not taking any books out of the box and passing the turn on to the next person.

(5) The next round will begin on the first of the month following the end of play (e.g. If round 1 ends on Dec 30, round 2 will start on Jan 1. However, if round 1 doesn't end until Jan 15, round 2 will start on February 1).

(6) Every, any, and all books can be put in the box! Fiction, Nonfiction, whatever! However, any books not taken after 2 rounds will be replaced by the person who put the book in. (Asterisks are used to indicate how many rounds a book has been in the bookbox.) To Be Reads are okay but should be marked as such!

(7) You have 24 hours from the time the person before you posts their move in the thread to make your move. If you haven't made your move in that amount of time, you may be moved to the end of the list. If you don't show up at all for a round, you will be removed from the list for the next round. However, if you want to rejoin at any time, you will be free to do so.

(8) New participants are welcome and can join at any time! If we are in the middle of a round, they will be added to the end of the list. If we are between rounds, they will be randomized into the list like everyone else.

(9) The list of participants will be randomized at the end of every other round.

(10) Once you've taken your turn, please PM the next person to let them know it's their turn. If you can't PM them for some reason, please say so when you post your move, so someone else can!

He is 6 1/2 years old and his name is Trevor. He has an enlarged heart and heart murmur due to severe malnutrition. We visited in June and he is a real sweetie!! We adopted a boy from China - home May 2006 that is 6 months older than Trevor, so they should have fun together. :D
