OK, I'll be headed back up to the great white north in March for a wedding. I'd love to see all my T.O. BOers! The wedding is Friday, March 14 in Ajax. We will probably arrive that day and spend the night in Ajax. I was thinking of getting together somewhere in Toronto on Saturday or Sunday. I will be visiting with my other Toronto buddies too, so no solid plans on when I'll be available. What works for you all?

OK, we've finally got some of our plans in order. I'll be staying with a friend near Yonge and Eg, so somewhere around there would be good for me. Not sure if I'll have the car or if hubby will, so that could dictate where I could go... I will have the little guy with me though!
How about dinner on Saturday night? Maybe our restaurant connisseur, Lauren, knows a good place?

I don't think I've eaten at any place in the area (well, unless you count the food court at the Yonge Eglinton Centre :lol: ) but there's a Pickle Barrel, a bagel place, a Lick's, some Thai & Indian places, fast food & coffee shops...all the usual suspects.
I'm thinking that if the young gentlemen are with us, some place casual would definitely be best!

I also got word that there is an Indian place and a Japanese place across from the ttc on Eg. So what are people up for? I'm thinking around 5ish so we can linger a little longer than a restaurant might want if we arrived later on a Sat night! :rolleyes:

Ok, anyone with preferences speak up now! My preference would be 1. Indian 2. Japanese 3. Spring Rolls 4. something else
Let's try and get a place firmed up so we can make some reservations. :)
Also, I emailed Jessibud and Penhaligon to see if they could come too. I heard back from Jessibud who also spread the word to Bookgrrl and SerenityBlue (though word is that she is in Cuba). I saw in the emails that the T.O.
BC meetup is being re-scheduled for March 15 due to weather. I think that if this meetup and that one are combined it will be too big, but that is just my opinion...
