Anyone interested in going? I went in 2006, and it was so much fun! I *really* want to go this year since I wasn't able to go last year. MY BF used to live in the area, and he's been wanting to go back for a visit, so we're hoping to combine the trip.

No authors have been announced for this year yet, but the list for 2007 is still posted. The year I went, I met John Grogan, Christopher Moore, Chuck Barris, Ursula K. LeGuin, Curtis Sittenfeld, Vendela Vida, Mary Guterson, Thisbe Nissen, and Steve Almond, plus saw a few more speak. BC wasn't there the year I went, but apparently they were there in 2007.

I'd like to go, but that is too far off to focus on right now. I need to try to get to the London convention and maybe that author/reader meetup in June first.

If I did go I would have to make a side trip to Astoria, cause thats where the Goonies was filmed. I know, I'm such a geek. :lol:

Yeah, I plan to do that too. I was hoping to do it the last time I was there, but it didn't pan out.

This trip is more feasible for me right now than London, so I'm definitely trying to make this one happen!

A maybe for me! I love Oregon and I may be able to swing it.

This trip is back on the "maybe" list for me, now that London is a definite!! I'll have to see if we can swing a weekend trip a week after we return from London on the 31st. I'll figure that out probably at the end of the summer depending on how much money we've managed to save.
