Margaret Truman, daughter of President Harry S Truman, died today in Chicago. She is the author of several biographies and books about life in the White House. She is also noted for her series of mystery novels set in the Capital City:

I read about this earlier today, but I've never heard of her or any of her books. :shrug:

Thanks for letting us know, elsi- I hadn't heard! I've read a few of her books but am slowly making my way through the whole "Murder at" series. I live just outside of DC and love reading them since I recognize so many locations.

How sad that there will be no more. She will be missed.
