Do we want to try a February PUF ALS? It will be an afternoon or evening one this time, to try and catch the people we missed last time. please vote yes or no, and if yes, then all the times that would work for you and we'll probably go with the most popular, except I'd like to keep in mind those people who didn't get to play last time due to work or geographic location. So those people who couldn't play last time, please also post and let me know when you can and can't play, so I can weigh that in.

Yeah I didn't think you'd wanna do it the very first weekend in Feb anyway, but just wanted to get that date out there along with the 17th.


I voted for the two Sunday options. We're always eating dinner at the Friday night time you suggested, and Saturdays, I can't really plan things ahead of time because I'm usually doing house stuff. And if we wanna stick with our schedule of getting all the work done so it's ready for market in April, then I need to figure that my Saturdays are dedicated to house crap! :lol:

Of course, if you end up deciding on a Saturday and it turns out at the last minute that I can play, then I will, but because of my reasons, I didn't specifically vote for a Saturday, nor a Friday for that matter... the 2 Sunday options once Football season is over looked really nice though. I just wonder if they'll be too late for the Europeans and Australians who might want to play (Amber, cats?)...

they probably are too late for Amber and cats, but Luckaye and Pepper couldn't play last time because we had it in the Europe friendly time, so I had said this one we'd try for everyone else. Not that I don't want them to play obviously, but sometimes you just can't catch everyone, we live too far apart!

I could probably do it on Friday, but I often go out Friday evenings, so I don't know if I would. However, if I don't play on Friday, it would be more because I choose to do something else, rather than because I cannot.

Saturday is out because I'll be working at Target. :(

I think the afternoon US times are more friendly for me so they are the ones I voted for. Depending on the date I could stay up and play on a Friday or Saturday evening/night my time. However a Sunday is OUT! I have to be up at 5am for work for the next 6 weeks on a Monday so Sunday night is bad for me.

Anyone else want to weigh in? Right now it's looking like a Sunday evening...

amber I'm with you I can't do a sunday ALS...its family day so I only get about 5 minutes every hour or so on the computer...saturday afternoon however works so great for me...sigh

though in all honesty if this dren with the health insurance company doesn't clear up soon i'm gonna be begging my dad for money to mail off my owed books anyhow sigh

Because Shaunie doesn't have the time to host/play in two of them per month, so someone else would have to host?

Not to mention some people were nervous that it would lessen the attendance for the regular swap and we didn't want to overload, or make it so that everyone had all the books already and never got anything new when they swapped (like happens to Amber most of the time! :lol: ) I was under the impression that an ALS every other month might even be considered too often, for that reason, let alone 2 in one month!
