Poor zzz has to have some hospital treatment on his ears and won't be back until 21st Jan earliest - so do you want to go ahead without him - he says he is fine with this - or postpone the swap again? And if we postpone it, do we make a date or wait til he returns in case we are in the same situ next week?

I've voted to postpone until the 22nd. I'm happy to wait, but I appreciate other people may be dying to start, so happy to go with the majority :)

Hon tests could be better so I'm taking therapy & must go in hospital again next week. Therefore do play without me. Hopefully I'll be back 21st (too long 4 waiting)

So I thought we could either postpone it indef, postpone and deffo play on 22nd whatever happens or just go ahead on 15th.

I think we should just wait until he gets back; it wouldn't be right to swap without him.

SInce it's a once a year swap, I would like to wait for zzz.
Or we can put a deadline for the end of Jan, rather than indefinitely. We can put him more towards the end so he will have a better chance of participating, even if we started without him.

I am really looking forward to this swap and don't mind waiting at all but I will be probably away from a pc on the 24th and 25th January due to a meeting I have to go to away from home.

I voted for the 22nd but could probably swap just about anytime, so whenever everybody wants to go/whenever zzz gets back is fine with me!

I need to wait until February! If it starts on 22nd I won't be able to play as I'm away from 24th to 29th (and I bought a new copy of my book especially for this swap) :cry:

All my best of 2007 I want to keep or have traded away already...I need to look and see if I really still have a great book I can use! :unsure:

I've traded mine away as well, but what many people did last year, and so I decided to do this this year, is find a few online places that have it for a good price or moochable for example, that ship to various places. Then after the swap, pick it up from there and have it shipped right to the recipient. :grin:

I've found a copy of the book I plan to use this way... :whistle: :whistle:

Clever idea...I just don't think my credit card can take that though. I still have to look through my books. I think I have a few that were on my 'Best of 2007' list.

Well, it's a big swap, and there is bound to be a lot of :pirate:, so if you ask to be placed further down the list, I am sure you won't need to miss it.
