Cool, thanks for the heads up!
I dunno what station ION is, but I was able to find it on WPBX at 7:00pm on 12/23 (EST). Unfortunately, only the one channel and date here on my Verizon FiOS.
PepperVL - December 23, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)
My friend is hopefully going to DVR it for me... as I don't get that channel and I've wanted to see it since the first pictures appeared on the web...
CheriePie - December 24, 2007 08:37 PM (GMT)
Crap! We didn't get it cuz the game was still on then. And I'm still in the dark ages here with the first generation TiVo which can only record one thing at a time.
PepperVL - December 24, 2007 10:00 PM (GMT)
I'm hopeful that it will be released on Region 1 DVD now that it's out on TV here...
Hogfather is one of my favorite Pratchett books... I LOVE Susan.
CheriePie - December 25, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)
I never read the book either. So I guess I don't know what I'm missing this way...
Though in all honesty, I'm not sorry I missed it because watching the 15-0 Patriots continue their season is definitely my priority. But I wish I had the better TiVo where I could record one thing and watch another. Or had I realized it maybe I could've switched to finish watching the game in the bedroom and let the TiVo out in the living room record Hogfather.
Oh well...

If any of you download torrents and have 1.37 Gb spare on your hard drives, then here's the torrent link.
HERETo download it you'll need a torrent client such as Azureus installed on your PC.
I haven't seen what the quality of this download is like myself, but I
regularly use *cough cough* know someone who uses Azureus and has had no problems with it to date.

My friend DVR'ed it and I watched it the other weekend.
I  it and I'll be buying it on DVD.
It's available at Borders exclusively for the next few months... and then it will be available more places. :D
CheriePie - January 19, 2008 06:56 AM (GMT)
I got it on my HD now. Might find time to watch it this weekend.

It's AWESOME, but if you're not at least familiar wtih Discworld, you might not get a lot of the jokes.

I've read I think the first 4 or 5 Discworld books so far...
