Title: ? for you Erotica fans

Okay i just discover erotica like 2 months ago. My first book was Menage(Black Lace) by Emma Holly. I loved it. They seem to be hard to get a hold of on Bookmooch, so i've been looking on Ebay. Is this a good deal, I buy 5 Black Lace books for $5.00 a piece, he gives me one free(his choice on the free one) and i only pay $3.50 shipping. All the bookstores are located about an hour from me so online prices are all i have to rely on. Seems the average new price for the books he's offering is $7.99. I was wondering where most of you buy your books and if the price is better than his? Thanks!!!!

I think $5 a book is a good price, but only if it's trade-size. I wouldn't pay $5 for mass market, not even a new mass market. I wouldn't want him to pick the free book, but I guess if that's the only way...it's not a bad deal.

Cheek by Virgin reprints a lot of Black Lace books so try looking for Cheek books too (like searching in Amazon for Cheek as the publisher to get the titles)

Black Lace books in general seem to have a high resale price - those aren't the books you can find selling on Amazon for 50 cents! Also look on Half.com

Thanks so much for answering, i always feel like a dumbass when i post a new topic. I'm not sure if they're trade sized or not. I love half.com, not as crazy about amazon just cause i seem to spend so much more money on shipping there. Also thanks for the suggestions.

I could be wrong but i've yet to see a black lace thats trade size - only the ones that have been reprinted by cheek, because cheek is all tradesize

The Black Lace I've seen are all mass markets too....

Erotica is hard to find cheap. They don't sell it in the stores around here either, so I've only traded for it or found it new.

So what does it say that I know where all the erotica books are in the Half Price bookstores, and it seems like in every store they are in a different section? They are trying to hide them from me, but I will find them, oh yes, yes I will!

I actually buy most of my books from Half Price, so I can't help with online unfortunately, I think Half Price used to have a website but shut it down a couple years ago maybe? I don't know.

You might also check out Ellora's Cave, they have a website, most of those are all trade size though, I usually pay $5-$7 for them at Half Price books.

I know I'm not a lot of help, I'm sorry.

Booksprice.com allows you to price compare across all the major new and used online book sellers.

Merging this post into this thread. For future reference and all...
