I started to just go ahead and add you, but I'm a little whimpy when it comes to taking that kind of action  December 10th at 9am CST (my time :D )

karendawn - December 3, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
I'll be traveling all day on the 15th and will have limited access after that, but perhaps we'll be done by then and if not, I'll just leave details moves with someone - so if that's okay, I'll play!

Yes, please.

I just went through all my *available* books and pulled the YA books out into a separate stack. I have more than I thought. Can someone post guidance? What ages or reading levels do you usually consider "YA" fiction? I have a number of books which fall into the general description of "coming of age" fiction. These are often have main characters in the 12-15 age range; are they appropriate to this swap? Or should my offered book contain older characters who are driving, dating, etc. ?

Personally, I would say books aimed at around the 12 year old & up. Books with teenagers as the main characters certainly would fall into that age group. Sometimes I think books for younger readers would even be ok as long as they are at least around 300 pages +

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Gothamgal - December 7, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
