This is just to gauge interest for a Paranormal and Urban Fantasy ALS (Almost Live Swap), thusly there is no "NO" answer, cause if you don't wanna play then just be quiet and let us have our fun! :lol: We still love you, but don't rain on our parade! ;)

I allowed for two choices, so please answer yes, than tell me where you are.

An Almost Live Swap is a swap where turn times are 10 minutes max, so you must be present for the entirety of the swap. These take between 1-3 hours depending on how many people you have and how many steals are allowed, be prepared for the longer time period if possible just in case. In these swaps, you will be bumped to the bottom, or the mod will make a choice for you if you do not make your move within time.

I hope I got all of our geographical regions, if I didn't, please go ahead and vote interest and then tell me where you are.

I don't know that we'll be able to accomodate all time zones, we're spread pretty far apart, but we'll try.

I'm offering to mod, which will likely put the possible times at a Friday Night, Saturday or Sunday Morning, or Sunday Afternoon Evening for me (I'm in US Central if you're interested.) Not saying these are our only choices, just the best ones for me at the moment.

I'm interested in doing them sometime, but not in the December one, so I didn't vote.

I'd like to as well, but Friday night or Saturday are my preference. My Sunday work schedule flips from week to week, so that day may work or may not.

I want to do one but it always depends with me whether my hubby is working or not. I like to spend time with him if he isn't working ya know. ;)

I'm busy every Saturday in Dec except for the 8th and work until the 21st. Will be off till after Jan 1st then though :D

Thats kinda my thing too Kathy. December is full of parties and stress and shopping and all that other holiday shit :whip: so no time on the weekends for an ALS for me. :( At least not until January...

I'd be interested, but depends on when you have it if I could play or not. Next Friday and Saturday, Dec 7th & 8th, I'm going to be on the go all day both days which Christmas parties and dinners.

I would love to take part if the day and time is right. I would prefer after Boxing Day...then I am home with internet and don't have to work so it would be possible.

When the day and time are fixed I will try and figure out what time and day that is here and decide. When you guys talk Sunday afternoon I am thinking Monday 5am :unsure:

Although since Shaunie is in central time, that would make it 7 PM to 1 AM Monday there...

we'll just have to do more than one at varying times so we can get everyone! maybe every other month, in the off months of the regular PUF swap, unless that would over do it...

You mean there are really places left in the world that have no internet?? :o I won't have it when I go on my vacation, but that's cause it will be too expensive on the cruise ship. I could still get it though if I just really, really had lots and lots of money.

Just an FYI, since cheesy does the mystery swaps only every other month, we planned it that way so that the PUF alternated with her mystery ones since we both played in both of those. Just thought you might wanna know that... :shrug:

When I went on a cruise, I did get online.

Now, I didn't browse around like crazy, however, I did check my email so it wouldn't get out of control, and I updated my Live Journal with what I'd done that day. :shrug:

Most of the time was spent updating LJ... because that way I could write about it while it was still fresh and remember the whole thing rather than just bits and pieces.

It did cost 50 cents a minute, however, so I was glad I was able to type fast. :lol:

I usually turn off all my message boards when I go. I can always go to the board itself and read up on what happened while I was away. This time the :rant: thing is during George's tour though, so I may have to have some Strait buddies send me pics they sent to the group while I was away.

Work email will just have to accumulate :lol:

I don't honestly think we should have them every single every other month, I think part of the reason that we have so many people now with such great reveals is that we don't have them all the time. I think with the regular swaps and the box, all the time would be too much, but here and there, not such a problem.

Quite true! And I agree completely. So I'm all for a PUF ALS now and then but like you said, not every other month... and for me personally, not in December... :D But hopefully I'll be able to play in one sometime after that. :)

I admit I said it as if I thought we should start doing on every other month, but I think that might be too often, and we want to keep interest up! :D I just didn't really want to do it in the same month as the regular swap, when I do it.

I'm kind of leaning towards end of December anyway, after the holiday rush!
