Oh yes, please sign me up! :D
WAIT - Ri, do they have to be non-fiction? Or can they be fiction books that have food as a central theme?
azuki - November 22, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
I've reading the book now!! I don't think it will be finished by the time of the swap, but at least it's not a TBR!!

Hmmm...tricky one. I was thinking non-fiction, but I guess there is some fiction that would qualify, like the novel Like Water for Chocolate (though I think that most folks have read that one, so not the best one to offer, but something like it would be ok). I was thinking that we would stay away from cozy mysteries about food though...

I have a fiction that is not a mystery but centers around food. And it's also not Like Water for Chocolate
I'll sign up then please :)

azuki - November 24, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)

rootmartin - November 25, 2007 01:03 AM (GMT)
Alright.... I'll join!
I'll have to play with a TBR but it's a book that I've wanted to read for a long time so I'm psyched to give myself a strong reason to read it.
Ri - November 25, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
So we only have 6 people at this point. Do we want to hold off until the new year so we can round up a few more folks, or forge ahead with our small crowd?
AceofHearts - November 25, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
Whatever you wish I hate making decisions
HoserLauren - November 25, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
I think the best idea would probably be to hold off until after the new year
msjoanna - November 25, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
Ri - November 25, 2007 11:29 PM (GMT)
Well I think this may be best postponed until the new year.
Now, everyone, go read those foodie books and be ready!!
HoserLauren - November 26, 2007 01:23 AM (GMT)
Does that mean I can look at the reveal Azuki sent me? :giggle:
azuki - November 26, 2007 04:42 AM (GMT)
awgh... after reading all those talk about food in the PUF swap only to find this one being postponed??? That's not fun... :o
And now I am kind of tempted to put down the book and read something else... So Lauren, you don't quite know what I will use in January!!
Well, Ri, I am definitely in whenever the swap is. And remember, folks, don't forget that a yummy yummy vbb is coming up in Jan!!
