Title: Another Book achievement!

I was just updating my Bookcrossing Bookshelf when I realised that I have read 2 more books than last year!!! Already!!! I mean it is only the end of October!
In 2006 I read 271 and today I finished my 273rd book for 2007! I wonder how many more I will manage before the end of the year?
This week is obviously my week for book achievements seeing as I also manages to hit the 2,000 books registered mark over on Bookcrossing!
Ok enough about that...need to go read ;)

I'm ahead this year on books I've read also. I read 135 in 2005 and 136 last year. I've read 128 already. I'm hoping I can actually make it to 150 books read this year. :erm:

I'm not near any of you, last year I read 73, so far I have finished 70, with 2 waiting to be done by the end of the week, so I know I'll pass last year's personal record. I would love to hit 100 before the new year.

Thanks everyone for the congrats! I hope I can make it to 350 by the end of the year. Seems like a nice round number that is possible to reach.

Wow do all of you ever read fast :wacko: I think I can take the fewest books read award...I just finished my 40th book for the year and that is the most that I have read in the past 5 years...actually probably the most that I have read in any one year of my life :)
Anyhow, congrats on surpassing your previous year's books read mark!

Tell me about it. The last couple of weeks I've been reading through a backlog of YA stuff I have for a themed release next week.

I haven't been able to keep track since I started school so I have no idea how much I've read in the last 2 years. Before that though I was at 150-ish per year, though I always included books I started but didn't finish.
