Description: How often

I'm game for whichever the majority chooses.

 Right now the voting is at 4 and 4

If this helps, I was thinking of starting the swap on the 10th of each or every other month.

I am happy to join every month! I have enough books here ;)

That's the thing, I don't know that I do.

Of course, if you have it every month, Kathy, people don't have to play. Some swaps will be bigger than others is all.

I think it is ok to have smaller swaps sometimes too. Maybe it would be better to say that with less than eg. 6 people signing up then it won't go ahead? Always do a sign up thread a week before starting and if the numbers aren't met then we wait for next month.

I guess the only issue with that is that it's hard not to sign up for swaps even when you know you shouldn't. There's always PMs and people asking in the thread and we (or I at least) like feeling wanted and therefor we go and swap anyway.

And yeah, we shouldn't... but we do. :(

I agree with you but I'm not sure that that's a good enough reason not to have a swap - or at least to hold a sign up for a swap. I would think that by now people would have a good idea of whether or not they can afford (in postage, tbrs, etc) to swap.

I voted for every month even though I'm quite sure I won't be signing up every month.

Oh, I'm not saying we shouldn't have it every month.

I voted for every other month... but I'm going into Swap Withdrawal (this is bad! I just ended two!!!) so I'd be thrilled if there was one in November.

:D

I think we will go ahead and try it monthly. Teen/YA books are usually quick reads and I got several that I think would be good for a swap :D . I'll start sign-ups for November's after I get home (I'm in Austin for a committee meeting - ugh!) We'll start it on the 10th.
