Title: Christmas reading for a carol service
Description: Help please

Sunlightbub - October 16, 2007 07:51 PM (GMT)
We have a carol service at work each year, and my colleague is trying to find a reading ( prose or poetry) to use. She would like it to relate to giving gifts or receiving presents perhaps in a magical or off the wall way. Anyone got any thoughts??

I was thinking maybe something by Dr. Seuss or Shel Silverstein but can't find anything fitting. Just a thought.

There's a poem by Shel Silverstein about a melting snowman (who wanted to live to see July or something), but it probably wouldn't help your friend.

I'll take a look at what I got and let you know..
