I just read on the Polish internet that the Nobel Prize in Literature was given to a British author- Doris Lessing. I can't really find anything about that in English.


Has anyone read anything by her?

Yeah I've heard about it few minutes ago and I don't think I'm familiar with her work. Now I'm listening radio, BBC in Serbian is searching if she has been translated (apparently she is! :blush:)

I LOVE Doris Lessing!!!!! She has been one of my favourite writers for years and I am absolutely thrilled that she's been honoured. I've been giddy all morning. :lol:

I just picked up my first book by her for the Passport to the World VBB. Since it's just been selected, I'll be reading it shortly. Good timing.

She's been on my TBR for years, but I've never known where to start. Any suggestions for any of her books?
