Title: Historical Fiction VBB - Round 4
Description: Play and chat here!
CdnBlueRose - January 20, 2007 06:09 AM (GMT)
ROUND 4 - I'll reconstruct each move up to where we were - RIGHT NOW THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS - I'LL PM THE NEXT PLAYER WHEN WE'RE READY TO START AGAIN! :) Turn Time Limit Rules:1. Turn time is 2 full days, 48 hours from the time the update listing the player's turn is posted.
2. If two days is a problem for you (i.e. you can't get online during the weekends, or will be on a trip, etc.) please let me know so that I can put a note by your name and allow you extra time.
3. If the full 48 hours has passed with no word from the player, the next player will go, and the missing player will be moved down 1 space. We will do this 3 times, but without the 2 day time limit each time. A Player skipped in this way will only have the time it takes for the next three people to take their turns to check in before being dropped to the bottom of the list (this is all if we have not heard from the player). It will look like this: 2 days, skip, skip, skip, bottom. If a player is skipped in this way and/or placed at the bottom, that spot will become their new permanent spot until the list is reshuffled.
4. The Box Organizer will be the time keeper and determine a skip or bottom placement.
5. This bookbox will make its rounds EVERY OTHER MONTH and books may be left in for THREE rounds.
On your turn:
1. Select the number of books that you want to take out of the box and list them for us in your post.
2. Replace those with the same number of books and please provide links to the journal entries for your books if possible. (or more if you like, sometimes people do).
3. If you decide to skip, you have the option to ask to be placed at the bottom of the list for another try. If you do this, that will become your new permanent spot until the list is reshuffled. (reshuffling will happen after every 3rd round)
4. New players will be accepted during play - they will be added to the bottom of the list.

ROUND 4Turn Time Limit Rules:1.
4. New players will be accepted during play - they will be added to the bottom of the list.

morsecode - March 13, 2007 05:27 PM (GMT)
Just bumping this since mid-March is right around the corner ;)
I'm going to PM Rosie and see what day we are planning on starting
karendawn - March 13, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
I was just wondering when we were going to start up again, especially as I just finished a good historical fiction book. :)
CdnBlueRose - March 15, 2007 02:02 AM (GMT)
Historical Fiction VBB was originally set up for the 18th of every other month - and yes, I had to refer to shaunie's swap site myself as I couldn't remember!
Going to do the confirmation thread right away!
