In a story that is sure to make the Bookman character from Seinfeld smile, someone has returned a book to the Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre 40 years after the book was checked out.
And just to make sure all the late fees were covered, the person who returned the book included a $5,000 check with it. Just in case you're wondering, the book was "Look Homeward Angel." Has anybody ever read it? Could it really take 40 years to get through it?
