Hi there. I tried to get my crazy Woman signature with the Christmas letters but it says my sig is to long.

That is probably because it is a free based forum?

I don't know how you got it to work on the old forum. I couldn't get all of cheesygiraffe on there. It said only 10 pictures on your sig. Each letter counts as a picture. :(

I'm thinking, this isnt a fact though, that the more you post, the longer you are able to make your signature. And since this is a new forum, we all have to start over. Right now my lenght is at 500 characters. I'm gonna test out the theory. :-D

It wouldn't let me use mine either. :(

Okay that is a good point Ishe.. Could be the reason, cause i have bene on the other forum (which was actually CR's second forum) for ages and ahd no problems using a very long sig.

I also couldn't put my glittering name on my signature. It only has five letters and I had no other images there, but it was still said to be "too long". I think the problem has to do with the fact it's a free forum, perhaps, and it does not have the cool things our old one had... *shrug*

That is probably it too...cause I can't use my :teehee: that I love so much :(

O well , How long do we ahve to wait till CR's has the site back? Maybe 2 weeks? Atleast we have out meeting base back.

I can't tell you how important this site is for me.
I've always had sites where I would spend some months and then after a while, I moved somewhere else.
But on the relay site I have been there on a daily basis since janaury 2003. so nearly 3 years now! :blink:

Me too! I felt lost last night and early this morning! The relay forums have become one of my truly "safe places" - it's where I come to chat and relax and be myself and forget about the crap that goes on in life - or if not to forget about it, then at least to vent about it and to have people who will listen and help me deal with it!! You folks keep me going sometimes and that's a fact!

I hear you Marlene... While I haven't been on the relay here that religiously since the beginning, I am surprised at how long BC itself has lasted in my life, and with no signs of slowing down! I just keep finding new ways to enjoy it, the most recent being our swaps! I'm also one of those that seems to have a new addiction every little while, and then move on to something new, but I've been on BC over 2 years now!

it's probably due to signature lenght - ie. number of characters.
Lemme see if I can change anything...

EDIT: try now...

They work now but only using board tags. 123glitter has invision tags you can use for your glitter name. I don't think we can use html on the signature like we could in our old forum...

Marlene, the Christmas letters won't work, but you can get normal glittery ones from the 123 site because the less animated letters are saved as one image file when you make it (like mine below).

True Marlene. I couldn't get my letters to post at all but that's OK cause I'm just happy we have a forum. :thumbsup:

I can't get even an avatar to load -- it tells me the menu is disabled. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? :(

I should be able to get html for signatures, but I don't know what's wrong with the avatars I'm afraid...
