There are all the book that have been sitting on my shelf for years. I feel really bad about it so I'm trying to get them read and let them travel. Please let me know what you thought about them.
Thanks for help!

I've read most of these, but not all. I really liked Handmaid's Tale and Blind Assassin and Empire Falls. Franny and Zoey I thought was okay, but not terrific.
Love in the Time of Cholera I really liked when I read it, but it hasn't stuck with me at all. Same with The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
I haven't read the Stephen King book, the Joy Luck Club, or Brick Lane (though I do have Brick Lane on Mt. TBR).

The Handmaid's Tale was wonderful. I also liked The Joy Luck Club and Salem's Lot. :)

I was going to vote The Handmaid's Tale, but I'm a King fan so I had to vote Salem's Lot. Plus it's good and it has VAMPIRES in it.

I've read a lot of these, but I picked the following:
The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood =I just can't explain why, it's that good.
Empire Falls by Richard Russo=great if you're into an Irving-type book.
Salem's Lot by Stephen King=one of the best, by the master himself...

Thank you all!!! I started the Handmaid's Tale last night. Too early to say if i like it or not yet.
Please keep voting whoever did not vote yet as I'm going to use the list for my future reading. I really want read all of them by the end of the year.

I see that Joy Luck Club is going strong as well. I will probably read it after I'm done with the Handmaids Tale. What's so great about this book? Comments would be greatly aapreciated.

I have voted for The Handmaid's tale. I really loved that book.
It was my number one book back in 2004
Like you I also have the Joy Luck Club on TBR. with more books by Amy Tan.
Please keep on reading The Handmaid's Tale it will get better and better.
2 other books:
Salem's Lot. I highly recommend and I have heard great reviews on brick Lane which I have not read.
