Title: Harry Potter 7 - Bad Bindings?
Description: I seem to remember...

I seem to remember something about this... my copy of Harry Potter 7's binding is all coming apart :( It's only been read by 2 people :( I bought it when it came out, so I dunno if B&N will take it back (esp without a receipt), but does anyone remember what deal was with the "recalled" books or whatever?

The "recalled" books were missing several pages, as I remember. I haven't heard anything about bad bindings.

Ahhh... okay, I must have been confused... who knows why this thing is falling apart then - that's actually kind of peevish though!

B&N will probably exchange your copy for the same book. If you want to return it without a receipt and they deem it suitable for resale, then you can get a store credit for the lowest selling price of the book, mailed to you within 3 weeks. But, most mostly likely they will just switch your copy out for a new copy of Harry Potter 7. It all depends on the manager that handles your exchange.

Yeah, Candie, I've taken a defective book back to B&N before (It had an ink blot over half of a page) and just exchanged it for another copy of the same book, no problem. I just had to point out that, hey, I can't read it like this. :D
