I have never organised an exchange before so I hope I am not stepping on any toes here. I just don't want to wait to long to start this up...there are just over 3 months until the big day afterall! :P
This exchange will be a 'Get in the mood for Christmas' exchange and packages should arrive on or before the 6th of December. Here in Austria the 6th of December is St Nikolas day and people usually give gifts (basically a Christmas stocking) to the good children!
So who wants to join in the fun? One wishlist book should be sent to your partner and anything else you want to add is up to you and is optional. Please don't go out of your way to make huge packages unless you want to!
Please post here if you want to take part and then PM me with your address. Also state if you have any postal preferences. Otherwise I will assume that you are ok to do international postage.
I will give everyone a week or 2 to sign up and then I will match everyone with a partner and send out pm's letting you all know who your partner is.
If I have missed anything please let me know!

You are not alone. We always celebrated it in my house by leaving a pair of shoes by the kitchen door. Good children got little presents in their shoes the next morning. Bad children got coal from St. Nick's assisant Rupert. My sister is the only one of us three kids who ever got coal! :giggle:

Oooh, coal. We were told that bad children get switches in their boots. None of us ever found out, but we were always a little freaked out. And when I was about six-years-old, I would have sworn on my life that I caught a glipse of St. Nicholas (complete with a miter) dashing away from our house into our neighbor's yard. Maybe it was really him. :lol:

Here the bad children get a piece of coal from Krampus on the 5th of December. Although I don't think many children get the coal there are some who should :D

Well, I love these exchanges and can't stay away from them.
Christmas isn't really my holiday, but I don't see why that should stop me from being in an exchange.

It isn't too late! I have a long list of things to do and this one doesn't look like it will reach the top till Sunday if anyone else wants to join!

Since it isn't too late to change, I'll need to bow out. A severe storm we had a week ago did some damage to my roof and I just got the bill ... :o
