(5) You have 48 hours from the time the person before you posts their move in the thread to make your move. If you haven't made your move in that amount of time, you may be moved to the end of the list.

The box has a surprisingly high percentage of books that I've already read, which is sort of surprising since I haven't actually read all that many books from the 1001 list. The real problem is that several of the books I might have put in are already in the box.

Might I recommend that we only remove this to a Books Out of Play thread only after each round? I find it quite helpful to see if any of my books have been chosen since members often forget to PM me with their sdelection and mailing address.

I just realised that Tranq1 will be out of town until Sept 5th - shall we just skip them until they come back?

I thought people had 48 hours to play in this box - not 36?? :unsure:

It is hard to judge these things clearly, with the time differences and mulitple time zones, but I do think it was 48 hours.

No offense was intended.

I also sent a PM and email to Perfect-Circle, and had no response.

I was just going by the times on the posts - the last update was at 10.09pm (my time) on 6 Sept, then the next saying she had been bumped was 12.12am on 8 September. I just figured as today is Saturday she may have been waiting till then to make her move?

It was 48 hrs since Jubby had her turn - I would have bumped Perfect Circle down but Jubby beat me too it - that will teach me to sleep in on a Saturday morning! LOL
