I went to BEA this year and I was in love. I really really was. Now I want to go to next year's (and I can, thank you horrifyingly bad job for doing something useful) but LA is a wee bit of a distance from me and I would like to go with other people (its not like this year where I could commute in. Ihave to FLY out there now...)
so...who's going?
Lexie
(the website:
BookExpo America)
not that I anticipate being able to get to Los Angeles next year, but...
That website is obnoxious.
I can't find where it says how much it costs... which would be an important consideration for people wanting to attend, don't you think?
<_< it is horrific...they don't usually post the costs of the Expo itself for a while yet(for this year at least it was $75 for a 3day pass for librarians/educators before like April 1st or something...basically Librarians/Educators got to go for cheaper really, I guess cause a lot of us can't get our employers to pay for the Expo as a work expense like Publishers etc can...).
They have information on the hotel and travel costs right now.
And can you tell I really wanna go? I'm sorry you can't come... :(
depends on where i am in life, finances and school if i can go or not. i'm not opposed to it, but it's a wee bit early for me to know.
heck..i don't even know what i'm having for supper tonight. :erm:
