Title: Ring: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Description: International - Updated 8/26 1:00amCST

candieb - August 24, 2007 06:06 PM (GMT)
Okay, I want to buy another copy of this book because this time next year my book club will read it. I'm thinking of doing a ring with it and starting it now. Maybe with 10 people or so? Any interest?

I'm not sure if we should go international with this because of cost and transit times - thoughts? Let me know who's interested and what you think. I'll start a list below when people for sure say they are interested. I'd say 30 days to read it? It's a fast read and really good!

If you are interested, post here and your shipping requirements, if any. I'm open to International if we think the timing won't be bad (do they even do slow boat anymore?) AND we have people willing to ship overseas!

UPDATE: This is what I have so far - is everyone okay with this? I'll keep moving people around and adding to it at the journal entry HERE http://bookcrossing.com/journal/5406484

msjoanna - August 24, 2007 08:41 PM (GMT)
I'm definitely interested.

I'm already signed up for a copy from another ring, but, as we all know, many rings disappear before they make it to you.

Maybe put me toward the bottom of this list and I'll duck out if I've gotten the other copy first?

For folks here, I'm willing to ship internationally.

SimplyCee - August 24, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)

Depending on how your mbag goes, it might make it back in time if these people read fast *laugh* keep an eye on the journal and :whip: 'em *laugh*

And Ri... duh. I remember that now.

I was wondering if that might be a possibility - will have to see how it goes

My copy just showed up from my other ring, so I won't be needing to get this one.

I'm going to start the book this weekend -- so excited.

I'd love to join! If you wouldn't mind slipping me in near Ace and Lauren we could hand-off in person.....otherwise I prefer shipping to US, but can do International!
