I found author Linda Ladd over at myspace and asked to be added to her friends. I made a comment on her page thanking her for adding me and how much I enjoyed her book Head to Head which I read last year. She was sweet enough to write me back to thank me for that and to let me know I had lifted her spirits today. :D
For all my SS sistahs who haven't tried her, start with Head to Head. I borrowed this from a friend last year and I give it two thumbs up plus a couple of toes. :P I need to get a hold of the second book of the Claire Morgan series which was recently released, Dark Places. Ms. Ladd also said she just turned in the third book, Die Smiling, which will be out next summer and that she working on book four. Actually she said..."Now I'm contemplating how to diabolically kill people in book 4." :giggle: Yippee...more SS for me!!!
I find some authors on myspace are very nice. :D I may have to try one of her books out. :wink:

I've only read the one book by her,
Head to Head. Looking at her info at fantastic fiction, she seems to have written romances at the start of her career then switched to romantic suspense and now suspense with the Claire Morgan series. I can't recall if there was romance in Head to Head since I read it last year. Ladd's stuff reminds me of Tami Hoag's later style somewhat - the Kovac/Liska series.
