Wow, great show! Thanks so much for the tip. Last night's ep about Molly & her DH who hit a guy on a road at night was exciting.

I'll definitely be hitting the video store for Season 1 to get caught up. So the show last night was still part of Season 1?

I knew you would like it. As for last nights show, I think that was season 2 or which ever the latest season was. I'm not sure how many seasons they've had since I only get to watch sporadically. :angry2: (It conflicts with CSI) I know it was a rerun though cause I had seen that one before.
Anyway, very cool spooky stuff plus you get to :drool: over the hotties.

New episodes start airing in October.

Yayy, one of my favourites!

I just got the 1st series, vol 1 in the post today! I saw the pilot on Sunday and ran straight to the computer when it was over to order the series!

I watched the 2nd episode today and was pleased to see Vickie's assistant (from Blood Ties) was playing a part in it! I like her!

I am sure I will be watching a few episodes more over the weekend and most likely ordering vol 2!

Re: Last Thursday's ep - the filming of "Hell Hazer" where people in the film crew keep dying ...

Very cool story :D Supernatural is sooo enjoyable - and I like the touch of horror and the humor. I've only seen two eps so far but "Hell Hazer" had me laughing with one of the guys totally getting into the PA (production assistant) role, with the headset, jargon, and eating all the catered food :giggle:

Now if I could just remember the guys' names and which is which.

Did anyone else notice that the actors' lips did not match the spoken dialog??? :blink:

That was Dean, the older (supposedly wiser) brother. Sam is the younger cutie. :wub:

I am totally enjoying this series! I am nearly done with the first part of series 1 and hope that the 2 part of series 1 arrives in time ;)

Glad to hear you both are enjoying the show. I had not seen Hell Hazer before so it was nice to have a "new" episode after a couple of weeks of reruns. Dean is so cute. :P (Of course, I liked Jensen Ackles when he was in Dark Angel.) I love the way the brothers pick at each other in this show.

OK, I finally put my finger on what this show was reminding me of.

Does anyone else get a fleeting flashback to Dukes of Hazzard while watching Supernatural? No, wait! Hear me out!

It finally hit me when in a recent ep Dean took a long drink off a bottle of booze. That, and the faint Southern accent. Plus, the car. OK, it's not orange, but isn't it the same make and model, or real close?

Then there's the two handsome brothers (runnin' from the law since the day they was born). And their friend, the older guy (Boss Hawg?). And The Roadhouse (RIP)?

:erm: Ummm no. Not until you just mentioned it. I just don't see Bo and Luke taking on vampires, demons and monsters though. One encounter with a succubus and they'd be goners. Series over. :P

I've also been watching the previous seasons on DVD (I love Netflix). I'm only halfway through season 1, so I don't think I should start watching the new season. I'll get through the first two before Christmas, usually the shows go on hiatus around there and show reruns so I can catch up. Definitely enjoying the show! It kind of feels like an update of the old Knightstalker (and better than the actual remake of Knightstalker!) Dramatic and creepy but still with a sense of humor.

Yay for a new Supernatural ep last Thursday night, and a promo for another NEW ep this coming Thurs, Feb. 7 :bananacheer:

Did any other classic rock fans get that Dean introduced himself & Sam as investigators named Bachman and Turner? For the non-rockers or younger Supernatural fans, that'd be a reference to Bachman Turner Overdrive, a big '70's rock group :wink: :lol:

They really seem to be gearing up to let Dean go. I don't want Dean to go to hell :cry:

There are four new episodes and then that's it. Don't know what's going to happen after that. We may not even get a 4th season! :cry:

TVGuide.ca announced:

"Supernatural (returning April 24, four episodes planned)
Details of the show’s return have been slightly sketchy, but the imminent return of a fourth season are not. The CW believes the show has enough of a following to maintain interest, despite being pitted against Grey’s Anatomy, and now Lost."

I'm not too sure what that means exactly for a fourth season, but :w00t: for 4 more episodes!!
