I am at work and can't focus or get anything done, I'm too excited and wound up about HP... after work, I'm going straight home to try and nap, then Sterling & I are going to swing by the midnight release party and see how long we can stay up reading! I never did pre-order the book or anything so I'm not sure when I'll be able to read it. I sure hope no one who reads it lets anything slip past BIG SPOILER WARNINGS once they do read it, since I'll probably take a while (unless I can a) manage to go to a bookstore tomorrow after spending the entire morning in governmental offices because of tax issues; and b) manage to actually find a HP7 in the shelves in said bookstore).

Earlier today, I was hovering outside the store I'll be going to tonight when I heard the following exchange between two twenty-something guys:

Guy 1 (staring at big poster in the window): Oh! Wait!

Guy 2: No, come on...

Guy 1: I just want to see it! I just want to hold it!

Guy 2: It's not out til midnight...look...

Guy 1: (stares at big poster more carefully) Oh...yeah...right... (walks off dejectedly)

I am planning to wild release a book at the mall tonight, it is an interview with J.K. Rowling from the year 2000...a bit outdated, but still good to read.

I just spent the last few minutes applying the Language of First Order Logic to the prophecy to see if that told me anything. (Mostly it told me that I'm a dork. :rolleyes: :rofl: )

You guys are driving me crazy. I ordered it so it will be delivered on Saturday morning...but now I'm wondering if I should just go out tonight and get it. Maybe if I finish the book I'm reading before midnight I'll go out.

Mine has been despatched so I should get it tomorrow. I'm still trying to convince myself that I'll read HP6 again first :whistle:

No, midnight party at the B&N I work at, but I get to experience the glory of a Harry Potter book release at 8am tomorrow.

I did think about it,but decided I didn't have enough time! So, as I have told DH....'this weekend, I shall be mostly reading' (probably doesn't make sense unless you watch The Fast Show!)

I tried re-reading them all... read all of 1, started 2... realized I didn't have enough time... watched movies 1-4... started reading 5 thinking I'd finish it before the movie came out... was wrong about when the movie came out!!! watched 5, and just gave up on reading any more!!!

I have 7 on order via Amazon and it is now en route to my mom's house. I'm HOPING it comes tomorrow, but to be safe I will be at the library when the doors open at 9am to get my copy then.

I'm supposed to be at my 11-year-old niece's b-day party tomorrow afternoon and I already warned her that I'll be reading while there. :giggle: Heck! I may read during our dance performance at the fair tomorrow night. LMAO!!!

I know I am such a nerd... but um I didn't either... I got really pissed with the last one because I ordered online, the guy didn't deliver it until like 5pm, and I spent 10-20 bucks more than I would have had I just gone to Wal-Mart that morning and got the book... that and I would have had it like a lot sooner.

So.. this year I'm just going to wal-mart... they had tons last year... but I kinda like the fun of going at midnight. :blush:


ETA.. I'm such a nerd! I just went to wal-mart.com to see how much the book was going to be.. I cashed in lottery tickets to get the cash for the book , and found out it's going to be $17.87, and I have 44 bucks in lottery money in my pocket.. wahoo.. I can get body wash and gas. lol
