I'm sorry Wendy, I think it's a no go for me. We've got a birthday party on Friday night, and stuff to do all day on Saturday. I don't like to proxy two thirds of a swap, especially at the beginning like that. :(

Absolutely the next time. I almost never have weekend obligations like this, but I can hardly tell my "nephew" (best friend's kid) that I can't go to his party. Well I mean I could but I doubt it would go over well for continuing a relationship with my friends. :D

Gothamgal hold off on sending out that reveal. At the moment we only have 3 players and can not do a swap with so few. Unless we get at least 9 or 10 players we will need to put this on hold for a bit. :lol:

Not a problem, wss4. I've done a test one (not sent to anyone) and I think it helps me understand the process better.

If I said I had multiple personalities (and multiple books), would that help??? LOL

Reveals?

What is a reveal? What is it that you send out when you send out a reveal? Forgive me...it's been a hellish week at work, and my brain just doesn't want to cooperate.

Anyway, if I can figure out the process so that I don't screw things up, I'm interested. However, June 29 sucks for me since I'll be at work all day and wouldn't get a chance to be online until late that evening.

If someone can either explain this to me or if I can just sit back and watch how things are done this round, perhaps I can play next time?

it's not whining, mellion! Here is the link to shaunesay's Swap Site. On the left of the page you'll see "Swap FAQ", which should tell you everything you need to know about how swaps work. Basically, though, think of a Yankee Swap that you might do around Christmas time, where people choose wrapped gifts from under the tree, and each successive person has the option to take a package that's already been chosen and unwrapped, or go for the mystery of another wrapped gift from under the tree. Except with books!
If there were enough people (I'm not even sure yet that I'll be able to sign up) for this swap, it generally lasts several days before completion. Shauney's swap site will explain everything, though, so take a look!

Don't feel bad, this would also be my first official swap on the site. Take your time, but know that the details are pretty easy to follow once you break it down.
