This site was suggested by someone at the Dayton BookCrossing Meeting tonight. I knew you all would enjoy it so I thought I'd share!

It definitely is you Nou!

But this should definitely be moved over to Book Talk at least, and possibly even added somewhere over in one of the Book Information categories where we listed various review sites, so it'll be easier to find later. :D

Gonna move it to Book Talk now in any case... :shedevil:

That's awesome! I loved the post about the actor "showing off his serpent in other gardens!"

Thanks Nou, looks like a fun site, I'll have to mark it!

Whoops! I guess this was a long time coming. I know it's something I talked about before with Sand, but I guess we never decided where it should go or something....

So, for your viewing pleasure :D a list of all the good book review sites (as a pinned topic in Author & Book News):
http://bookobsessed.com/index.php?showtopic=1794

I've already added this one to the list, along with a few others I already had bookmarked. Feel free to add more and we'll keep the top post up-to-date.

For new announcements, it's definitely appropriate to post here too... I didn't mean to imply in any way that it wasn't. I just know that quite often other Obsessors are looking for this site or that site that was posted about previously. So that's what aggregating the info in the appropriate forum in the Book Information category is all about. :D

Thanks for the site Nou! :waves: Looks fun! And *bookmarked* here too.

Oh my gosh! That review of Cassie Edward's Savage Moon.... :lmao:
I read one of those many long years ago and it was equally as bad as the the reviewer said of the one she read.

"So there you have it: brain poison, Cassie Edwards style. I have to seriously question WHY this shit is continually published? I know the short answer is that many someones, somewhere out there, is buying this shit. But holy crap in a cover, why? How is it that this superficial, tawdry, poorly-written drivel passes as some sort of tribute to Native American culture? You know the crying Indian commercial from the 70's? He's not crying because he paddled through chemical waste and litter. He's crying because he just finished a Cassie Edwards novel that bastardized his culture into trite homilies and meaningless drivel."

Oh! I've seen this site before, and it's hysterical! I love the sections on bad covers!

I'm online friends with the ladies who run it, as well as Jane who runs, among other things, DearAuthor.com. Once I won one of the friday lonely hearts contests on Smart Bitches but I can't remember what my title was. :(

Thanks so much for sharing this site! I love it! The "Covers Gone Wild!" part is hilarious.
