I have bought a book from this site. Shipping was free and pretty fast.

Two things I like about them:
Free shipping (in the USA) and the carbon-free "green" option
Their funding of literacy groups such as Room to Read, Books for Africa and others.

On the con side:
Availability and price of a book you're looking for does vary considerably.

Someone posted a link to that on my book blog and I wasn't sure if it were just spam or not, since the reply really had nothing to do with my review. Thanks for giving your own input on it too so I know it's not. :D

The stupid system is not allowing to make purchase because I didn't type "correct" state/province in the billing address???? We don't have such things, actually we never use it in the address. I live in province Vojvodina but no one use that or asks about it. I typed that but it's not "correct".
I didn't know that according to them your country MUST be divided in many states (or provinces)! :angry: grrr

I saw an email addy for Geoff at BetterWorld inviting feedback, so I have stated the problem you encountered and sent it to him. Will let you know if I hear anything back.

I contacted them and received reply that they added Vojvodina (province where I live but we never use that as an address or for anything else) but when I tried to claim purchase the same problem appeared and I sent an e-mail again explaining new situation. After few days someone else from BW replied me with:

"Dear Milan,
I'm very sorry to hear about that error. I have contacted out website development team and they are working on the problem. Again, my apologies.
Sincerely,
Customer Service"

Date was Nov 8th and still nothing (truth I didn't try for a long time).

Well maybe they've worked on it by now (one can hope) - I'll let you know if they tell me anything different.

I just wanted to follow up and see if he was able to have any success. I believe the problem he was encountering is that the billing address he was entering does not match the one his bank or credit card company has on file. If there is no state or province for Serbia then he should just leave that field blank. This is only a guess; I would need more information to be certain.
