Description: Weird

http://www.sticklebook.com/index.htmI dunno where to put this - I thought bored games, but last time I posted something there, it ended up being wrong... LOL... anyway, I'd worry about the pages getting torn or something, but an interesting idea.

that is weird! I don't know if I like it or not

Weird! I had to look around the site to see how that worked. Here's the link to that:

Weird! Why does it vaguely creep me out?!?
And then there's this from the FAQ:
Does it damage the books?
Sticklebook's comb will leave a small mark on the ends of the book leaves but has been carefully designed to ensure as minimal marking as possible.
I'm curious as to how small that "small mark" is...

So am I.

It is interesting. Not sure if I'd actually use it or not.
I was thinking though it would work real well for our RV. Space in there is always at a minimum, so when I do bring books with (always) they end up in a paper bag stuffed in a closet/cabinet. This would allow me to put them out, without taking up huge amounts of space. Hmmmm Something to think about. :read:

Well, it's definitely not something I'd want in my house.
But I guess for something like Brat said... like an RV... it might be nice. If you're only using it for mass-market paperbacks that are probably getting the spine bent and dropped and whatnot in the course of being read/carried around... I don't see what harm it would do. The pictures don't look like it would do more damage than I've done to some books just carrying them around.
I wouldn't want to use it for nice PC books, or in my house, but for something like an RV it could be cool, I guess.

The first thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem to hold very many books. I think thta most of us would need a gajillion of them!

I thought that too! But it would look kinda cool if you like took an entire wall and covered it with those and filled it with paperbacks.. which wouldn't be hard for most of us

Speaking as an RV owner myself though, even though mine might be smaller than some of those big Class A's that drive super smoothly, I know that in my 26 foot Class C Gulfstream, these things wouldn't hold the books on the shelf while you're driving. They'd be all over the floor and then you'd have to put them there and take them off, before you go anywhere. :shedevil: Doesn't seem worth it to me... A regular wall shelf with a bungee or rod that goes along the front to keep things from falling out would be much better for RVs, unless it's the kind you keep in one place all the time and never move it around...

:D That certainly wouldn't be difficult! It would be kinda cool to have books just hanging on every available inch of wall space!
