Refreshing. Unless is still available or

Vernon God Little - DBC Pierre Currently tbr but should be able to pass it on in a couple of weeks.

OK. Let's see if I can do this right. Help me if I get it wrong.

But be gentle. It's my first time.

I PM'd Perfect-Circle to accept Vernon God Little .

And I'm offering Yann Martel's Life of Pi.

How'd I do?

http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/2541147
If you have seen the flim and have not read the book, the book is much, much better. More depth, better character development, excellent read.

I think this is the only Booker prize winner on my shelf at the moment, except for one I haven't read yet (God of Small Things).
If someone prefers God of Small things, I will move it up Mt TBR.

This isn't a Booker Prize winner, but I can also offer The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri if that will work as a suitable substitute to keep the relay going.

Bibliocrates - August 15, 2007 12:28 PM (GMT)
I accept The English Patient (co-winner in 1992) by Michael Ondaatje and I offer:

Staying On by Paul Scott (1977 Winner)

I would love The Namesake, but it isn't a Booker Winner... maybe we can trade, huh hotflash? Love your avatar by the way!
