Just wondering how everyone is doing with their reading. I tend to read more during the weekends (doesn't everyone?) and I can usually finish a couple of books.

I just finished #8.

Holy crap.

I'm working on #4.
But I've done a fair amount of textbook reading too that must count for something :bash:

I am on #8 for the year. The medicine I am taking is supposed to knock me out so I can get some sleep but instead its been keeping me up and I am getting lots of reading in.

I'm on #4... I blame that "book" I had to read - Maps For Lost Lovers... ugh.

I'm slow off the mark this year. I'm working on #6...*sigh* Not really a good reason, just too busy doing other things.

I'm on #8 but I did give one up at page 287 so if I'd just hung on it would've been 9!

That's a long way in to give up!

I'm working on #4 & #5 at the minute. Hoping to reach 8 by the end of the month.

Working on #6....only half way through the month, so that's on track!

I am working on book 6 and 7.

I am shocked. I thought I read pretty quick for a non English habitant, but reading your posts, You guys seem to read 1 book every 2 days. :thumbsup:

I finished my 20th book last night, its the most I ever read in half a month so far :o . I think

I've finished three "proper" books this year, also two "graphic novels" and one kids lit book I read aloud to my family. I have two currently "on the go" - one being read aloud and one for myself.

Which all means I'm on book #4 or on books #7 & #8 depending how you look at it...

I'm reading my 7th book of the year. I'm right on track with where I usually am. ;)

I've hit a slump... I've only finished... um... one :(

I've been busy with other things, but I've finished 2... am part way through 2 more books and 1 audiobook! Hoping to finish "Sleeping With the Fishes" soon though because it's really funny and also because I want to start "You Suck" as soon as Amazon delivers! :D

I'm working on #3. Driving across the country (and back *sigh*) really cut into my reading time...I barely read anything for that whole week. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the pace now, though....

Finished 9. #10 is Tuesdays with Morrrie and #11 Blessed are the Cheesemakers (really enjoying it). Just wishing that I have some gourmet cheese and wine to go with my reading...

I'm on my 6th book but 2 were dnf. Well, I got pretty far in one before giving up and I plan on coming back to the other one.

I'm on book #3 and I am trying to do the read a book from the NY Times Bestseller list every month again too, and I have January's read in!

I am working on #4 and #5. This is great for my baby brain! I have packed up all of my books and made 2 shelves of books to release in the next week before we move. It was great to really pour over my shelves and decide what I truly will read and what I am ready to pass on. If you happen to see a book you sent me get released without being read, don't be sad. :( Be happy that the book is getting a whole new life! :P

I'm working on number 7. Since I was sick all weekend, I had alot of time to read (when I wasn't sleeping) so I read 2 1/2 books this weekend (which is good for me).

The way I count, it's 12.

5 kids' books from work.
2 joke books
1 how-to book
1 romance
1 story collection

That leaves 2 "real" books!

WOW!!! 20 books!! And I thought I was doing good with my 1 book a day thing. Today is the 16th and I've finished 17 books!

Although, I am waiting to crash and burn because I know I can't keep it up.

Soooooo much pressure!

I'm halfway through #10 for this year - work has been DEAD so it's given me extra reading time.....
and #10 is Desert Places by Blake Crouch which may well be the sickest piece of sick shit I've ever read....

I've read that one!! I think I wrote in my JE that it "grabs you and doesn't let go" until the last page, or something to that effect.

Well I am a little over half way through # :( 1. With moving and work, I just have not had the time to read. I started this book in December and still have to finish it. It is not a bad book either, just no time. Hopefully after I get my unpacking done, I will get a bit of free time.
