Title: Firefly: The Complete Series DVDs
Description: Great Sale at Target this week

PepperVL - April 19, 2007 03:00 AM (GMT)
Just in case people are interested... I know that we have some fans on the forum...

This week Target is selling the DVDs of Firefly: The Complete Series for $20. The DVDs are usually anywhere from $30 to $50 depending on where/when you buy them, so this is definitely a good price.

I'd so pick them up myself if I had money to spare on DVDs.

Damn I wanted these too, but definitely no time to get there what with the convention and all. :angry2:

Maybe you can hit a Target in Charleston?

They're on sale through Saturday.

The Potoks love Firefly! We have the series dvd, and for  Day I bought Mr P (well, both of us, really) the movie dvd. :woot2:

So even though we don't live anywhere near a Target, and already have the dvds, I think it's really nice that you posted - could be good news for somebody else!!

I have Serenity. I got it for Christmas. Well, sort of. I got a duplicate of a DVD I already owned for Christmas and exchanged it for Serenity instead.

I was working at Target last night and someone bought Firefly and some other thing and the total only came to $25 and I did a double-take.

:sigh:

I splurged and bought them when they first came out. I couldn't wait. I loved that show.

I didn't even discover it until maybe a year and a half ago.

But I've wanted to own them ever since.

However... there's that nasty money thing. :sigh:

I can sympathize with you there. Amazon released season 2 of The Magnificent Seven recently. I liked that show too with Michael Biehn & Eric Close. Then there are the rest of the Highlander series and The Pretender I would love to have on DVD.

I watched (and loved) Firefly from the beginning, so I bought the DVD set when it came out. Although having an extra one might be nice...

I'm kicking myself because I was trying to decide whether or not to get the Buffy collection with all the seasons in one package when it was on sale at amazon for $99 earlier this week and by the time I had decided to get it, it wasn't on sale anymore (amazon price is back up to $164). :( (I have all the seasons individually, but I'd like to have the smaller box to take up less space and also get the little extras that come with it.)

I bought that through the Amazon marketplace for $209.94 last year when it wasn't available anywhere else. I wish I had found it for $99!!! It's pretty sweet though so still worth the cost to me! I wish they'd do an Angel set like that though! :please:
