Here's our new baby that we piocked up from the German pointer Rescue on Saturday.
Her name is Dutch (or Dutchess). She is a German Wire Hair Pointer and is about a year old.

Yes, she wags it alot! That thing can be lethal. She's just the right height that she can swipe stuff off the coffee table with her tail.

We will definitely have to setup a play date :lol: She's so use to dogs her size, I'm not sure if she would know how she will handle such a little dog. :lol: I imagine it might perplex her a little :P

Als's family has had German Pointers for years and his grandmother has had several champions so he has a love for them. So he hooked up with the rescue several months back and has been helping them out. Al had his heart set on a Wire Hair and Dutch was the only one they had. But she has kidney problems and Al wasn't sure if she would do OK hunting. But he finally just gave in because she had captured her heart.
I have to say, she captured mine pretty quick too.

How old is she? She looks little. How long was she in Rescue?
I have a German Shorthair Pointer, and they not only wag their tails but their whole butts! It's great.

We aren't exactly sure how old she is. Some say 9 months, some say a year.
I'm not sure how long she was at the rescue, Al would probably know. He's been helping them out since December or January (I can't remember) and she was there the whole time.

I see. No offense, I just thought she looked thin, and thought maybe she was just brought it. That's all. She is pretty.

No offense taken. She is a little thin but she is eating like crazy so I don't think that will last very long :lol:
