Just heard on the new there has been a shooting at Virginia Tech.
It appears that at least 20 students are dead and at least 28 injured. The
shooter is dead.

:o It's so sad to hear stuff like this.

I heard about it on my break, but at that point there was only one dead. Everytime I hear about stuff like this it reminds me of that shooting at the University of Texas with that dude up in the clock tower.

This kinda stuff is just scary!

Yeah, I just heard that. There are saying this will go down as the worst college shooting in this country.

Just seen this on the news - hope everyone is ok here and I am so sad for these people and the families. Tragic and such a bloody waste. Don't understand....

I just heard about this -- we've been without power all day!

It's up to 32 dead now, with a bunch still in surgery and over 20 more just listed as injured. :o So now it's the worst any kind of shooting the US has had (the second worst was actually some guy in Texas who shot up a restaurant). I hope it's the worst any country has ever had -- I don't want to think there was ever a worse one somewhere! :cry: Why do people do this?! :cry:

My sister almost went to that school -- ended up going to one of their rival schools instead. She keeps seeing places she knows in the news pics which is really erie, but it's been long enough that she doesn't know anyone there now. :unsure:

It is and with a kid already in college and another just entering I can't help but worry :(
