I know that we have a member here who does not care to read hardbacks because of it causing pain in her hands, but I can not remember who it is.

The reason I ask is because I ran across two boxes of hardcover books that I had not yet unpacked from our move, some of them are duplicates and some are on wishilists, so I was going to RABCK a few. I just want to be sure that I do not send anyone a hardcover book who will not be able to read it.

I personally would prefer a paperback, but will take a hardback if it is available.

Personally I avoid Hardbacks as much as I can especially the big new release ones cos they hurt my hands AND they take up too much space.

I have a friend who doesn't like them cos she always falls asleep when reading and they fall on her head and hurt her!!!!

Noumena prefers softcovers to hardcovers as well. Though I think if it were a wishlist book and she didn't have a choice, she'd take the hardcover. :whistle:

I prefer pb to hb because of price and shelf space. But if it's something I want to read, I'm not opposed.
