My boyfriend proposed tonight when I got home from the longest day at work!!!!

I'm totally flipping out and soooo excited!!!!

I'm sorry for not posting the details sooner! I spent all last night on the phone calling everyone.....busy night! And then I hardly slept last night...I just kept playing with my ring!

The details: I came home from the longest day at work ever (parent teacher interviews) and we chatted about boring things (i.e. paying the rent) so I went into my office to write out the rent check. He peeked around the corner and said 'I bought you a surprise today...' Of course I want thinking THIS IS IT! But he pulled out a box of long stemmed roses....so of course I searched through the flowers looking for the ring....:rolleyes: He totally convinces me there's no ring hidden, then reaches into his pocket and pulls it out! I was laughing and crying and screaming all at the same time! Then he tells me he called my Dad last week to ask for his 'blessing' which is so old-fashioned but sweet at the same time! Plus, my Dad can be intimidating so I'm proud of Matt for doing it!

So the next question people seem to be asking is 'When and where?' and I really don't know.....I want to have a destination wedding in Vegas (I think NWPassage's sister did this? I remember seeing the video...), but I don't know if Matt's parents will go for that.....:shrugs:

We got married in Vegas and I just loved it. All we had to do was show up, the wedding chapel took care of absolutely everything else.

congrats! I had the most fun planning my wedding, it was a real bonding experience for my mom and i, who can sometimes be at odds with each other. plus my wedding was freaking fabulous and cheap! :wub:
