Title: ALS Friday 3/30?
Description: Starting sometime between 11 & 1 EDT?

PepperVL - March 30, 2007 01:06 AM (GMT)
Hey all, I know there have been several attempts to get ALSs together lately... I thought I'd see what happens if I asked with a little more notice.

I'll be home tomorrow during the day until about 3 EST, so I could host an ALS (or just play if someone else has a burning desire to host) if people are interested.

I was thinking I'd start it sometime between 11 AM and 1 PM EDT.

Anyone interested? And what time would be best for you to start?

Interested people:

1. PepperVL
2. EllyMae58
3. FranciJo
4. LoveMyLife
5. MsJoanna

Sorry hon, going to a book sale tomorrow day, out tomorrow night. Then there's still getting my reveals ready for the 2 upcoming swaps this weekend, the paranormal VBB too since I run that now... :sigh: too much to do unfortunately. :(

But I know there were a lot of others interested so y'all have a blast!! :woot2:

Unfortunately, I think that's about 2am on Saturday for me. No, I'm not staying up nor getting up for an ALS. Maybe I'm not as addicted as I thought. :P

Clearly you are just not addicted enough.

Thank you O great timekeeper. :)

If my workload is slow, and I can check back often enough, I could probably play.

Sounds fun guys but I'll be in Duluth till 4 pm :( Maybe next time

FranciJo - March 30, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
Duluth ... brat, you're killing me. One of my favorite cities (but not so much in winter!). Enjoy for me!

I might be able to play in the ALS swap tomorrow. Depends on where my boss is! :shedevil:

lovemylife - March 30, 2007 03:30 AM (GMT)
What time is that CST? I would like to but I'm not sure if I have to babysit tomorrow. I'll get back to you in the morning.

msjoanna - March 30, 2007 03:30 AM (GMT)
Ah, well. My deposition did just get cancelled, so I may be able to play.

I'll keep an eye on the thread and see how it's shaping up.

Well, that depends.

Are you on Central STANDARD Time or Central DAYLIGHT Time?

EDT is Eastern Daylight Time (GMT -4).

Central is usually 1 hour behind Eastern, but if you didn't Spring Forward, than you're 2 hours behind me.

If you can get it going I'll join. (just hate to see how many times you guys try to pull it together and couldn't) As long as it ends before 2pm EDST as I am leaving home then.
And I will just use the other book that didn't get picked in the raiding swap.
Is the ALS done on BSL?

If I host, it will be here.

I'll check back in later. I have to see what is going on with work today.

alsgal - March 30, 2007 02:44 PM (GMT)
Count me in!

I'm actually at the office today (have to file expense reports :yuck: ) so I'll have to browse through my shelf online & find something to offer. But I'm sure I'll find something you will all snatch up

Totally off topic but my husband would love to move to Duluth on our next rotation (he's in the US Coast Guard). He has family in Minneapolis and his family owns a cabin about an hour south of Duluth.

I love Duluth when we visit in the summer but I told him I'd move in with his Mom in AZ for the winters (I hate the cold) :giggle:

A new thread has been posted. I'll start us off once people have confirmed!
