Title: Science Fiction & Fantasy Bookbox
Description: Shaking things up?

PepperVL - March 29, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
Okay, since I took over the Science Fiction & Fantasy Virtual Book Box from Shaunie, I thought I'd see if people wanted to shake things up a little. Shaunie did a wonderful job, and I'm happy to keep things just as they are, but as I'm running one book box instead of several, I could do this more often if you would like. I can also shuffle more often if you prefer that.

So, please vote for one choice as to how often we have th box itself and one choice as to how often we shuffle.

If you have any other suggestions, please leave them here.

Thanks!

Shuffle? Shuffle what?

I thought the names were shuffled every round.

I'm pretty sure this is the first round they were shuffled. I remember staying in the same spot for a while, anyway.

Of course, I could be wrong...

:( I hate waiting two months for the next round. I guess I don't understand why people want to wait two months. If you don't have anything available, you can skip. Waiting two months means that if a book doesn't get taken out during that round, we have to keep it in "limbo" for that much longer. And I want my books to move and find lovely new homes!

And this box was still set to shuffling after every 5 rounds.

I feel the same way, but I guess people thought they'd be skipping too often?

I'd like to have it every round, but I'm going to go with whatever people want. However, there were 21 people in the box and only 14 have voted on that question, so... maybe it'll change?

It looks like we're headed towards shuffling every other round now, though... but again, that could change too, I suppose.

Okay, I think I'll shuffle every other round now... on even rounds.

Could people tell me why they don't want to have this every month?

I would like to, and the only other person who's commented wants to, and I'm just curious why there are 9 votes to keep it every other month....

I'm kinda relieved that this one is bi-monthly as the other 3 vbb's I'm in are monthly, but I really don't mind if it's changed. I'd even change my vote for you if I could which would make it 6-8 instead of 5-9, then just skip whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed. :)
